God wants every believer to express his love to Him. And every time we pray, we can thank Him for everything, give glory to Him, and we can also worship Him. He created us to have a personal relationship with Him, and with Jesus. That’ s why eternal life begins here, when we know God, and his Son whom he sent. And also, if we keep His word, Jesus said that the Father will love us and that they will come to us and make their home with us.
So we see that God is so close to us, Christ is in us, and we can have fellowship with the Holy Spirit in us. Of course, God is always on his throne in heaven, and through the blood of Jesus, we can approach his throne by faith, and we may receive mercy and find help in time of need. In a few words, we can have α personal relationship with God, because we can talk to Him by faith, and we know that He hears us. So when we pray, we need first to humble ourselves, and after to open our hearts and express our needs. And then the Holy Spirit reminds us of the promises of God from His word, and as we declare them by faith, then we receive answers to our prayers.
So, when we abide in Him, He blesses us, He heals us and answers our prayers. We also have the privilege to pray for other people around us, and God to bless their lives. As when we pray, the Lord hears us and we also hear his voice which is always in harmony with the bible. So it is worth it, to have everyday a personal relationship with our heavenly Father, and study His word, in order for the fruit of the Spirit to grow in our lives, and to be changed into Jesus’s image more and more.
